Your first priority... minecraft should be finding coal, so you can make torches. Making shelter is really easy. Just dig in a wall and then block the doorway with dirt, you don't even need to make a workbench, process logs to wood blocks and make a door.

If it's dark in your shelter, the monsters can spawn inside. You need light to keep them from spawning there.

But failing that, you can build a boat quickly enough and just set sail out onto the waters where it's safe (as long as you're out of range of the skeleton archers).

not bad

i like the beginning, where the music is building up and the light flickers on... and then the out-of-focus panning around... the disorientation... that's also done reasonably well... and then the heavy breathing and suddenly the hardcore music kicks in... the combination of the claymation style in this horror scenario is quite funny... and yet the sense of terror is somewhat there as it evokes memories of the previous SAW movies.

I think you can make more like this but improve your techniques and quality...

maybe if you built a larger sized clay model? i can't tell exactly, but it looks like its fairly small, so that may explain the lack of details and clear recognizable shape at moments.

Good Job!

Nice simple graphics style. Liked the basic premise of stranded on planet, need repair kits.. simple, but always sets a good atmosphere. Controls were solid. Level design is classic. What more can I say? Keep it up!

Really, really great job!

This is exactly the kind of game I've been wanting to make! It's like Ghouls n' Ghosts but without the annoying stiff jumping. My only small complaint is that there were those moments when you couldn't tell what dangers were below, off-screen, like if it was a death pit or spikes etc. Oh and also, the enemy AI is kinda samey -- it'd be nice if they each behaved a little more unique, rather than the same drifting yet constant B-line towards you. Hmmm, and one last complaint is that the player sprite, although charmingly simple, could use a little sprucing up / details, 'cuz he looks a little too plain.
